MID ATLANTIC AGAIN NAMED TOP-FIVE DEALER FOR CON-E-CO

Lititz, PA –Mid Atlantic Concrete Equipment has been named a top five dealer for the second year in a row by CON-E-CO, the largest manufacturer of concrete batch plants in the U.S.

Representing CON-E-CO and ancillary products for concrete production, Mid Atlantic Concrete Equipment aggressively promoted—and subsequently sold two of—CON-E-CO’s new HRM-12 horizontal reversing mixers in 2008. The HRM-12 is the first horizontal reversing mixer produced in the United States, and engineers at CON-E-CO took advantage of the company’s late entry to the market to make significant improvements  over the designs of established competitors from Canada.

In July, Rohrer’s Quarry, Inc., Lititz, PA, became the first concrete producer in the world to put an HRM-12 into regular operation. Shortly thereafter, Ralph Clayton & Sons started up its HRM-12 in Tinton Falls, New Jersey.

Within a territory that stretches from New England to West Virginia, Mid Atlantic goes beyond equipment to provide everything a concrete producer needs to get up and running. Through its partners and vendors, the company provides zoning and land use consulting, financing and lease services, environmental and operational guidance, construction, project management, and erection services.
